VIKING YACHT OWNERS CLUB

Powerboats from New Gretna, New Jersey
The purpose of this website is at once both recreational and informational. If you are reading this then you probably own a Viking or wish you did. Well then, read along and we'll get started.

BRIEF HISTORY.
In 1964, Bob and Bill Healy, purchased Petersen Viking Builders, a small NJ builder of 37' cruising & sportfishing yachts. Since that time, Viking has produced nearly 3500 boats in various styles and sizes. The most popular (694), the 35' Convertible, was produced from 1974 to 1990. Today, Viking expects to sell about 100 yachts a year at an average cost of $900K - times sure are looking good.
